About the Founder
My name is Kel Bourne, and I'm an alcoholic. I feel genuinely empowered to say that.
On the 16th of July 2015, at the age of 35, I walked into my first detox centre. It was my first real surrender — and it was, quite simply, recover or die.
Seven years later, I created ReBourne Sobriety because I know how many people fall through the gaps of recovery programmes that don't quite fit who they are.
ReBourne is built on the same foundations as the 12 steps — honesty, accountability, humility, community — but adapted to the individual. It takes into account personality type, the specific reasons behind why you drink, and the life you actually want to build.
The goal is not simply to stop drinking. It is to build a life in which alcohol no longer fits.
That is the heart of everything ReBourne stands for. Not white-knuckling through cravings. Not counting days. Not fitting yourself into a system that was built for someone else. But genuinely, sustainably, building a version of your life that you want to live — one that doesn't need alcohol in it.
Why ReBourne is Different
No higher power. No faith requirement. ReBourne works for everyone — regardless of belief, background, or worldview.
Seven distinct pathways, each built around a different personality type. Because the reason you drink shapes the way you heal.
No platitudes. No toxic positivity. Just real, grounded tools for building a life you actually want to live.
